Golden Plover is a classically built vintage gentleman's motor launch operating along Britain's inland waterways.
The Requirement
Whilst Golden Plover looked fairly acceptable at first glance, unfortunately there was considerable rot to her stern, which needed to be resolved before it created structural weakness.
The Solution
Webb Boats surveyed and appraised the boat, and the owner agreed to the project plan. Golden Plover was delivered to Webb Boats' workshops in Norfolk, where the team undertook meticulous care to carefully strip back and replace the necessary timber, whilst retaining its structural integrity.
